We lost our keys on the beach in Avon. Jarvis came out and towed our Jeep off the beach and back to the house. Great service. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Had a blowout on NC 12, a polite cop was stopped to check on us, gave me Jarvis' number. I couldn't get the lugnuts loose, and he towed us to the hotel in Buxtoin that we had reservations for and waited while we checked in. The next day he came back with a tire on a rim and put it on. He could have gouged me but didn't -- which I much appreciated and for which I glad tipped him. The experience was a warm welcome in a resort town and made us glad we chose Buxton. Kudos also to our hosts at the Cape Hatteras Motel, but not to the service folks at the CARQUEST store in town, where I had two new tires put on. The help is rude and they don't write down key info on service tickets, opting to to play "telephone" to relay info. They charged me almost double for what the guy in the parts dept. said, and failed to loosen the spare from underneath, so the next time I get a flat, I'll be stranded again. The service dept also ignored my request to swap all the lugnuts with ones that don't have cheasy sheet metal caps on them, but they didn't -- and the #$%& queen at the counter curdes me under her breath for asking and stomped off.

The most unprofessional establishment I have ever dealt with in my life. On the phone Jarvis was extremely rude. After 5 minutes of trying to find a good time he could tow me, he began laughing and cussing with his buddies, talking about lunch brakes, cussed some more and hung up on me. Did not call me back to continue scheduling. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE.
