Regarding this negative review/scam accusation, no papers were "lost", the issue with this file was blatant misrepresentation on the part of the borrower to conceal information regarding his financial obligations. Unfortunately, we are unable to continue processing a loan once we determine borrower information is inaccurate. We are extremely diligent with providing the most accurate information possible, however when we identify that a borrower has misrepresented information, they can be nasty... We are not allowed to hold back information which would change a banks decision about lending.

THIS COMANY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND THEN STOPED DOING MY LOAN AFTER THEY LOST MY PAPERS TOTAL BULLS+++

Provided by YP.comThe ladies seemed very knowledgeable, the first time we spoke. Having the same conversation again over the next phone call was frustrating. Every time I ca.led I needed to explain who I was though I had sent in loads of paperwork. Felt like I was a low priority for them. Knowledgeable, but inaccessible, and very impersonal. Would recommend to look elsewhere.
To work through a quality approval, it is necessary to obtain many more details than name, employment and social security information. We have never spoken to a Terry Toms; I am inclined to believe this (alias)individual was not able to be helped with a mortgage by our office. While we are happy to assist in any way we can, and we do speak at length with our callers, their situations can be more difficult than the caller realizes. This typically results in what the caller feels is repeating him/herself, when in fact, we are trying to determine specific details to assess if we can do the loan PRIOR to them spending hard-earned funds for appraisals, inspections, etc. The "loads of paperwork" sent would be reviewed in an effort to figure out if the loan is even possible. I noted that the poster had no complaint about being charged for any service we attempted to offer. Our time is never compensated unless we are able to close the loan successfully. Unfortunately, taking the time to evaluate a file properly does not always result in application and closing.

Diane, Carrie & Amanda at Acre Mortgage were amazing! They put in countless hours making sure our mortgage application was complete and correct. Their knowledge and expertise is beyond compare. Our closing went very smoothly because of them. They were a joy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone. If you want your mortgage done right, these are the people to do the job!

Provided by YP.comi have only great things to say regarding the acres mortgage family. and i call them that because that is how you feel from the moment they answer the phone. the ladies there are beyond amazing and go above and beyond to help you to understand every single step of the loan process along the way. i couldnt have made it thru my mortgage process without these folks. they are real true to life people- not just some stiff sitting in an office, running numbers for people they dont even care about.i rate them a 110%
