BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS... HORRIBLE SERVICE. let me just say that my fiance' has spent hundreds of hundreds of dollars at this place because he knows that I absolutely love floral arrangements. So 3 weeks prior to this past Mother's Day 05/12/13 my fiance' ordered me flowers for Mother's Day to be delivered to my job on Friday 05/10/13. When he realized on Saturday 05/11/13 that I didn't bring flowers home he asked if I received my flowers and I told him no. He immediately got on the phone with Dutch Iris and the lady explained that she was sorry but for some reason they just never processed his order. MIND YOU THIS IS A RETURN CUSTOMER WHO SENDS THEM BUSINESS AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. After coming to the conclusion of just sending the flowers out to my job on Monday 05/13/13 and agreeing to enhance the arrangement for THEIR MISTAKE... I NEVER RECEIVE MY FLOWERS. So as you can imagine my fiance' is infuriated and goes by there on Tuesday to find out yet again what happened. I will say that he even admitted that the first younger lady that he spoke with seemed very apologetic and was willing to do a complete refund for their lack of service for a product that had already been paid for, when an older lady who was very rude interrupted the conversation and assured him he would not be getting a refund because now, 4 days later, the flowers were in fact in route for delivery. After explaining to her that the sentimental value for sending flowers for Mother's Day and not getting them in time had been lost and he at this point just wanted his money back again she refused to continue the conversation and left it at YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING A REFUND AND WALKED AWAY. Can you say RUDE???? AND THEN SURPRISE, SURPRISE I GET MY ARRANGEMENT 30 MINUTES AFTER HE LEAVES THERE COMPLAINING!!! GO FIGURE. Well I can assure you that although it may not hurt their business my whole family is from Dunn and I will make it my point to let everyone that I know about their lack of respect for their customers when THEY make a mistake.. AND WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. WE'LL GIVE OUR BUSINESS TO PARADISE FLOWERS WHO NOT ONLY IS THE OWNER AN EX EMPLOYEE OF DUTCH IRIS BUT SHE DID MY COUSINS WEDDING AND WILL BE DOING MY SISTERS WEDDING AND HER ARRANGEMENTS ARE JUST AS GOOD AND EVEN A LITTLE CHEAPER!! THANKS DUTCH IRIS FOR SHOWING US YOUR TRUE COLORS!!

This place is a joke! The owner is an ***hole and very rude, unprofessional and cocky. We recently paid $128.10 for a floral spray for my mothers funeral. We ordered several ribbons to be attached one of them was to say "grammy". It arrived at the funeral home on Tuesday with "granny" on it. After the viewing and the service on Tuesday we went by the florist shop to notify them of the mistake. We were assured that it would be corrected that afternoon prior to the graveside service on Wednesday. That did not happen. After the graveside service, we again stopped by the florist shop to let them know of our dissatisfaction. The owner, Gary, was very rude to my wife and told her that it was a simple mistake and "not that big of a deal". When she went off on him he called her a smartass. After she came outside to the truck and let me know this, I then went in to confront Gary. He of course denied saying it at first like most cowards do and then got confrontational with me telling me that if he wanted to call her a smartass he would and "what are you going to do about it?" I advised him that all they had to do was refund us a portion of our money for their failure to provide us with the product and service that we paid for. He of course had already taken my money and had no intention of making it right stating to me as well that "it was no big deal". I advised him that I had just buried my mother less than an hour ago and would have expected more from a professional. Needless to say, we left without any closure on the matter.



This man should be considered a true reflection of the business and the business practices of this establishment. I find it very sad that he would let his greed over money trump customer service. I wouldn't recommend his shop to anyone!

I am so sorry for the situation that occured. I do assure you we gave the customer a refund of 20.00 plus the tax. The problem was that that was not good enough for his wife. She wanted more than that for her trouble. It was a 5.00 ribbon. The flower was done with lots of care and ended up being worth a bit more than the origaial price. That is how Garry makes us do each and every flower. When she wanted more of a refund than that I could no longer help her. She was very angry and confrontational. Rude in my opinion but I knew she had just been to a funeral so I felt she was full of emotion. We really did try to be nice. It is very hard when people come at you with such rude behavior. Garry has given lots of people money for charity. One Christmas morning someone showed up at my home with presents for my kids,anomyously. I know it was Garry's family. They are always doing this type of thing for people. Greed? WRONG! I have been there 12 years for a reason. I would never work for anyone that is an ***hole.

i LOVE THIS STORE!

i AHVE USED DUTCH IRIS FOR YEARS. THEY HAVE WONDERFUL WREATHS, DECORATIONS AND FRESH ARRANGMENTS. IT IS SOCONVIENT TO USE THEIRRENTAL DEPARTMENT WHEN I NEED A TABLE LINEN OR LOTS OF ITEMS.

In time of sorrow

During our time of sorrow, the Dutch Iris Florist was very professional, kind and supportive last year when I was responsible for assembling the arrangements of my deceased sister. Their flowers are so green, and beautiful. And the variety was wonderful. And living out-of-state, it was wonderful to be able to do business with someone that made things easier while in-town. Dunn is my home-town but I've resided out-of-the state for more than 25 years.

Love the Flowers

The Dutch Iris never fails do deliver wonderful flowers, they are always fresh & absolutely beautiful,they always go above & beyond what you expect form them & everyone always knows witch arrangements are from The Dutch Iris because the stick out in a crowd,my entire family calls on The Dutch Iris for all our Florist needs.:)
