Wonderful place. Erica is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was much better than trying to order online, as different brands have their own way of sizing and it gets confusing. Their selection is much better than anything else in the area. It's the first time in a long time I was able to get something in my size that wasn't beige. Great experience.

Being a bigger busted girl of 32 GG I have a difficult time finding bras that fit. I travel to Durham/Raleigh for Winston Salem. When my grandmother called about this store opening in Burlington, I was skeptical. Another Layne Bryant? Victoria Secrets? Dillards? Nordstrom? Bra Patch? No, this store is none of those. This store gets it! They understand that I don't want to be shoved and crammed into a smaller cup. They embrace my figure and carry/special order sizes that fit me. Erica which was my sales lady refused to let me leave the store with a bra that I was going to settle for. Instead, she ordered me the right size! When it came in I was like WHOA! I have never, repeat, never been fitted properly until now. A Sophisticated Pair, I love you!



To the reviewer below, you should be thankful she cared enough to fit you into a proper bra rather than cram you into something too small or too big. think of the amount of time she spent with you getting you fitted correctly verses just going for the sell and telling you that something looked good and that discomfort is part of the game, ala Layne Bryant. Nordstroms won't even order our sizes or offer to.

I would have given them 5 stars but I was disappointed with my fitting. I was measured and then the girl bought half the inventory in the room for me to try on. I don't see the point of the fitting if they are going to throw it out and just randomly bring sizes in until they find the right one. It could be she is new or I am hard to fit but it shouldn't take almost an hour to find the fit.

Thats not to say that I didn't buy a bra though. They have a great choice to select from and they are friendly.

I was so glad my mom and I found A Sophisticated Pair. I tried Victoria Secrets and Layne Bryant and couldn't get a bra in my size (34G). All the bras other stores tried to fit me into were too small in the cup and too large in the band or vice versa. As soon as I walked into A Sophisticated Pair I was greeted and told if I needed help to let them know. Then they let me look around without constantly being over my shoulder. Erica, sales person, answered questions for me and then spent 40 minutes helping me find the perfect bra. The fitting is free and she knows what she is doing. Every bra she brought to me in the fitting room was wonderful. But then she brought me the "THAT'S THE ONE" bra. It was cute and colorful and fit me perfect. I have never felt better in a bra before. I bought three and ordered another two. My mom even started trying on some of the bras and fell in love with a memory foam style one. She found out she had been wearing the wrong size (thanks to a misfitting by a major retailer) and when she came out with the right size on it was like WOW!



Pro - Friendly, knowledgeable staff, wide range of hard to find sizes and colors (omg fashion colors for us busty women! Not granny style bras at all), prices are inline with online stores for the same manufacturers, personalized attention, free fitting and they will do custom orders and not charge you shipping.



Con - Burlington is their only location. I didn't mind the drive from GBO but would love to have them closer.

Simply amazing! Finally found a bra store that actually cares about how I fit into the bra and how it makes me feel instead of trying to put me into one that is too small or too big. The store layout is simplistic sheek and they have a much larger size range than Nordstroms, Layne Bryant or Victoria's. The young woman that helped me, Erica, was highly knowledgeable in proper fit and inventory.



They do appear to have dogs that they keep in the office, so if you have an allergy you might want to call ahead of time to see. Other than that, the only con I would say is that this is their only store. I wish they had one in Durham but I will continue to make the trip to Burlington and take all my girlfriends with me. A+++
