I received a $50 gift card for Mother's Day for Vida Nails and the purchaser included the receipt to the gift card for me.  I went to the salon on 5/18/17 to use the gift card.  When I went to check out the owner, "Tiagn?", told me that my gift card had no money on it and that maybe I had another one.  I told her that I did not have another one.  I explained that it was a gift and provided her with the receipt.  The owner then checked the receipt and said that the gift card number on the physical card did NOT match the gift card number on the receipt and that it was no good.  As the conversation continued the owner made it very clear by her questions and words that I was not telling the truth and I was treated like a thief.  She made it clear that there was no way that an error could have been made on their part during the purchase transaction.  She pointed to the sign on the desk that states their gift card policy.  She made me pay for my service and offered no resolution.  She called me "rude" after she accused me of being a dishonest thieving liar (in so many words).  Shortly after that she said pointed to the front door and said "there is the door you may leave now".

Linda is the employee whose name is on the receipt as having handled the purchase of the gift card.  As I have shared though, Linda could not have made an error and loaded the wrong card or entered the wrong number according to the owner. It was I who was lying and scheming.

This is an unacceptable and unethical business practice.  I was flabbergasted and dumbfounded by this experience.  

I will never return to this salon.

Customer service a word that they do not know. This attitude obviously coming from the top as this was the owner herself behaving in this manner towards a paying costumer.  They received $50 from the gift card, and then additional money from me.

This owner, and her employees, do not understand that it is we the customers that make or break her business.

If you want to wait for an hour for an awful pedicure, leave with wet gel nails, and over pay for everything- be my guest. The Asians are rude too

Great place to relax. Have a pedicure with Amanda. Enjoy the experience of being pampered. Very nice and clean place. People were polite and helpful. This is an experience everyone should take.
