Pro Fitness in Burien is one of the best gyms I've been to. Yes, it's a quieter gym, but I like that I don't wait for machines or equipment and that I have a parking space when I pull in. After a few gyms I have been to in the same area, this gym is by far the cleanest. What it doesn't have is a daycare and a pool - no loss to me. I've noticed that the staff are very respectful and try to cater to customer wants and needs. In my own experience, the staff did everything in their power to help me get the best service as well as training possible. I really appreciated the free personal training session. The trainer designed a program specially for me and my goals. When I signed up, I talked to the manager. He was very polite and was helpful. There was no cheesy sales pitch. He was direct and to the point, explained what membership plans were available. I ended up going with the annual plan since it had the lowest overall cost. So to sum up, Pro Fitness is a great gym. Try it!

I was a member here for a year (2005-2006) and this was about the WORST experience I've EVER had with any business! The owner repeatedly interrupted my workouts to have me "help" him with various front desk duties and to practice his assorted martial arts moves on me. I received a nerve pinch to my shoulders when I told him "NO" after he asked me for the 3rd time to give him oral sex and then exposed himself to me in the back of the gym. I was then called "Sasquatch" and "prostitute" (behind my back of course...the coward didn't say this directly to my face)...he apparently doesn't like to be told "NO". He also asked me to show him my breasts. He asked for back massages and my prescription pain medication for his "sore back" while I was a MEMBER here. I left this place because of the sexual harassment by the owner and because of the theft of my voided check (payments were drafted from my bank account with this), my social security # and my cc # that was stolen by his (unbeknownst to me at the time) ex convict-bank robber-personal trainer-best friend-employee who I had signed up with. A friend of mine had $800 CASH stolen after he paid for a 4 year membership and then they claimed he never paid them! A bunch of us left and went over to Highline Athletic Club where we had a much better experience. The owner has a Narcissistic-Jekyll and Hyde personality and has been running his gym like this since it opened in 1990. In fact, he was sued by the Attorney General in 1998 because of this type of behavior! These guys are pathological/compulsive liars and thieves and I wouldn't join this used-car-dealership-gym again if my life depended on it! There are plenty of other REAL health clubs in the area. I would stay far away from this place! Avoid it like the plague!

I don't mind at all putting my name out there to express what I think about my local neighborhood club... This is truly a fantastic place to get your workout on!!! Been a member now for over 7 years and my boyfriend for the last 3. We're not into the whole ultra crowded uptight sweathouses so we come here and will never go anywhere else. Wish I knew about this gym before joining LA Fit back in the day:(

Hola my name is Maria and I join the ProFitness in Burien 3 years ago. When I become member the program director, I think his name was Jeff or George, he explain to me all of the specials and everyhting else very slowly and carefully because of my english. I left that day feeling very satisfied and was looking forward to starting my workout.. I enjoy the steam spa so very much it has helped me loose those last tough couple pounds and it has messaged my bad back to the point where I no longer feel any pain in there anymore... Wonderfully clean club thanks to Suzanna too.. Everybody there makes me feel like family and not just like some number like at my last gym... Muchas Gracias!!!!
