A bit like a ghost town these days, which maybe feels a little weird, but means it's easy to get in and out without competing for a parking space or waiting to be helped. It's back-to-school time, and it was either here or brave the crowds at the Empire Center and Target to get the supplies. Glad I chose Staples. They had everything on our list and the kid working the aisles knew exactly where to find every item, which I needed help with because some of the organization seemed a bit counter-intuitive to me. I think there were two or three other customers in the store, which made checking out and getting out of there pretty speedy, important because I had my 5-year-old in tow.
