Moved in 2009. The rent wasn't to high and there was a pool area, a much in AZ, though it was broken and the spa as well. We paid first, last and a $500.00 pet deposit, about $1500.00. All damages, which there were many, were documented in the move in report. These damages included wholes in doors and walls that had been “patched” up, missing screens from all the windows but one. The dish washer would fall out of the place on the wall from time to time and the refrig was leaking. We asked for this to be fixed time after time but never had it done. We thought well it's documented right? HA.

We lived in the complex for over 5 years with a lease for only the first year. About 3 years in, a new manager came in. All of the office staff had been fired. We found out one of the renting managers, the one we had originally signed our lease with, was requesting insane deposits and taking funds off the top of those and rent. We were reassured our information was safe and our deposits, all of them, would be on record and credited towards us, but only a few months later, after that manager was fired, we were suddenly required to pay a NEW pet deposit because all of our information was now missing. We informed the new management of the situation, they only required we write out a note saying we paid the deposit. I feel so stupid believing anything from them now. I should have moved out then and cut my losses.

When we did leave, I still paid the last month's rent, prorated for the time I was staying and left my deposits. Honestly, all I thought was good by to bad trash. This place had my phone number, which I've had for over 8 years, and never called about anything! By the time we had left the apartments had gone through a slew of managers, management companies, and even got new owners and all of our information either being stolen or “lost”.

Flash forward to today, I moved from Arizona to Oregon 3 years ago. Guess what they got a new owner 2 years ago, or one year after I left, how do I know? I got a call from a collection agent saying I owed $500 for cleaning, damages, and new carpets in the old apartment. After I called the apartment manager today, 10/24/15, it was explained multiple times we had deposits on the property from our move-in and we got none of it back. The manager told me of the new owner, and they had lost ALL of our information, but a paper with our names and phone numbers saying we own money and are now trying to collect on that debt.

Avoid this place like a plague. They can't get their crap together and will try to make up debts with no information to back up their claims for money with each new owner.

Tonight. 8/12/16 me and my family were swimming. At the bullhead apartment complex. The manager yazmin came out and told us she was locking the gate at 7 pm which according to corporate it doesn't close at 10 pm. She instantly starting to get rude with us. She called my sister out while we were all trying to leave. She called her maintenance man abnir I do believe his name was. He came around the corner like he was going to fight us. One of the people that was with us was a little bit intoxicated and she followed us and harassed us multiple times trying to get him to get rowdy which he did. And then 86'd him from the property because of the fight she was causing. Before we left she was slamming doors and was pointing at all the girls that were with us and saying you got a problem with me. I'll fight you was her exact words. This is downright unprofessional and rude. She literally followed us all the way to the car that we drove him off the property in.

Desert Springs Apartments Bullhead City, Az.

I like these spacious apartments. Pet friendly. Pool. Nice neighbors. A BAD thought about this place: Dirty carpet when I moved. Spots and Stains pop up everywhere, after I vaccume my carpet. This apt., should have put in NEW CARPET or Laminet foors. It's bee very Embarrassing when company comes over. I've only moved in 3 weeks ago, and this carpet looks like it been lived on for YEARSSSSSS. Discustting. Gross.
