I went to an implant specialist after having one fail previously with another dentist. I was referred to by a dentist within the Stellar practice to see this specialist even though I didn't think I wanted an implant. I had to call twice to make an appointment with the specialist as the lady I tried to make the appointment with refused to give me an appointment and told me to go back to my other dentist who did the previous implant. I finally got the appointment after an argument about my right for a second opinion (couldn't get me in for a month and a half) and the specialist treated me terribly. He would not really answer my questions and asked me what I wanted him to do. I have never been treated so poorly by a dentist in my life. It was obvious he was not going to help me. He told me he would refer me to a denture specialist within the group but at this point I was really questioning the care I would actually receive with this group. I said no thanks and asked where the exit was. I would recommend you find someone who cares about you and avoid the Stellar group altogether!

OMG, I had a tooth extracted last week. Pain and nervousness gone out the window when Dr. Vlad entered the room. The holistic, compassionate bedside manner and care was absolutely amazing. The office even called the next day as a well check. If you need an extraction or any dental care, this is the spot!!!

RUN, RUN, RUN, AND TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS DO NOT GO THERE. THE WORD HAS TO GET OUT THERE! Stellar Dental has lots of complaints, unless it’s a cleaning. Dr Sara Kunkes said I needed a root canal and that I had 6 cavities. I was told the root canal was going to cost thousands. Kunkes was going to fill some of the cavities and when I asked questions about the root canal process, she appeared offended, shot me with Novocain and didn’t do any work. I spoke with the Office Manager Deidre Smallwood about this; she said that they were on a schedule. I asked to see another Dr for my next scheduled tooth filling appointment. I saw Dr. Vlad, he extracted the tooth from my mouth and was mumbling under his breath, “Your Pressure May Be Fine”. ???? During the extraction, he had threaten not to pull my tooth and was pushing my jaw from left to right and ripped my gum all the way across to the other tooth and left it open without putting any stitches in (I wish he would have held true to his threat). Two months later, I still have a long split in my gum. I STAYED BECAUSE MY INSURANCE SAID I WAS USING ALL OF MY DENTAL VISITS UP BY GOING FROM DENTIST TO DENTIST. When I showed up to have my teeth filled, I was treated by Dr. Kunkes again, (I'm feeling trapped!) There was almost a three month time gap since I had been to Stellar. Again Kunkes was the dentist since 3 months had passed I asked her to refresh my memory, she said that that the cavities were simple cavities and started to drill in tooth number two until she got to the nerve and said I needed a root canal. I couldn’t believe it; she filled another tooth and put a temporary filling in tooth two. I am so traumatized! I was seen by Dr Rocco, she fill two teeth that were low and I had to go back to get them adjusted (I tried to leave but was told the dentist who worked on my teeth had to adjust them). Rocco sanded my teeth down and, I don’t know what is going on with them. I finally went to another dentist and he said I had 7 cavities and needed a root canal on #2. What did Stellar do? Supposedly, they had filled 4 cavities out of the six. For complaints, GO TO NYS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL LICENSING AND FILL OUT A COMPLAINT FORM

I went to the office at the Sheridan dr. tonawanda. The young dentist I saw was truly interested in doing good dental care. He is truthful, answers all questions and does his best to make a patient feel comfortable. The best experience ever. I recommend this dentist at this office

Don't go. I was told I had 6 cavities, 2 of which needed a root canal done and a proposed $6000 plan of action for all the work. I got a second opinion and he said I had 2 cavities, no root canals needed. $214 later and I'm all fixed up. They get you in with a cheap deal on cleaning, exam and Xrays then try and sell you something you don't need. Liken them to an auto mechanic that every time you go in for an oil change, they tell you you need $1200 worth of other stuff done. STAY AWAY!

This is nothing but a money and ins scam worst dental care in buffalo...id rather go to the dirty father baker dentist then here...went to many appointments only to find out my insurance would not cover work done so i need to pay out of pocket yet insurance was and is being billed for work done....no office staff will say who is in charge or return calls

I had not been to the dentist since I moved to Buffalo and I took a chance by going to Stellar dental located in Sheridan drive. I am so lucky to have found Stellar dental. They accepted my insurance and it was so simple to arrange an appointment and fill out all the paperwork. The dentist there did excellent work and the whole experience was very positive. I recommend this dentist.

I'm so happy to have found this place. I had a great experience with a new dentist they hired. Explains everything. Meticulous and skilled. Almost painless injections. I have had enough bad experiences with my previous dentists but this was my best experience ever.

They are very unorganized here. I made one appointment had to change it because the receptionist scheduled me for a pediatric appt when I am not a child, then had to reschedule once again because they realized they couldn't fit my teeth whitening in at the time they slotted me at. I just canceled everything and will find somewhere else to go! What a waste of time!

Stellar Dental is very welcoming and friendly. I'm extremely pleased with the dental work I have had done. The new dentists they hired are wonderful.

Skilled and compassionate

I would recommend Stellar dental to everybody. The staff is extremely friendly, and the Williamsville location is beautiful, with a waterfall at the entrance. They explained to me everything I needed to know about my teeth, and I left my cleaning appointment feeling extremely satisfied with the job they had done. I would recommend Stellar to anybody.

Bought a $39 deal chicken deal. Cleaning, xrays and whitening. Same thing as others have experienced. First of all I drove 30 minutes to get there. They told me I had a small cavity and wouldn't allow me to get the whitening I had purchased and fully expected to get that day. There's no disclaimer on the coupon saying you don't qualify for whitening if you have a cavity. I think they are scammers. State of the art facility. But high pressure sales.

First of all, I never used to write reviews, but found some people only write them when they are mad. So far in my experience I have had one cleaning and one filling. The office is beautiful and state of the art (tvs in each room!) and the staff is always ridiculously friendly. They have great specials and a referral program- my friend is getting her entire procedure for free since I said her name! I had heard that Dr. Vlad was "an a$$" on an online review, but I had Yelena for my cleaning and Dr. Vlad for the checkup and filling, and I found him to be very nice, professional, and precise. He always asked me how I felt or if I was doing OK. I also got free impressions and a teeth whitening kit worth $250 for free. I am not on insurance so they automatically discount all procedures 20%. And finally, it may sound silly, but every dentist I always feel like I am choking on all the liquids being splashed around but these are all pros at using that sucking thing! I would definitly recommend them (infact I WILL recomment them to friends and get $50 credit for each person!)

They're advertising a free whitening for all new customers this month but it's not true. If you belong to an insurance carrier they participate in then they don't consider you new. Read that last sentance again and when you're done scratching your head find a different dentist.
