We are centrally located Motel to some of Maine's most frequently visited coastal towns. Within a 20 mile radius, You can visit Bangor, Belfast, Blue Hill, Ellsworth and Castine. Bar Harbor & Mount Desert Island are only 40 miles away. So think about staying with us without paying those high prices.

      We do offer free WiFi, cable TV, Air conditioning, refrigerators, microwaves and a coffee pot in every room. We are right beside Dunkin Donuts. You park right outside your room. We have chairs and tables for you to enjoy the outside.

      As a lot of you already know Val and I have been remodeling rooms each year in our off season. In the 5 ½ years we have been here, we are now half way thru redoing our rooms. Our video will show you just some of the work we have done.

     We want you all to know the Bucksport Motor Inn was built in 1956 so we are an older motel and will never be a five star,  but what I will guarantee you is that it is the cleanest place around. We pride ourselves on that fact. We will do our very best to make sure your stay with us is as good as it can be. Our goal is 100% satisfaction for our customers. So please give us a try.

       While staying here things you can do right here in town. Check out the Penobscot Narrows Observation Bridge, along with our own Fort Knox . We are home to one of the best, 9 hole golf courses in the state. We have a great waterfront walkway that will take you to some fine dinning, a movie theater, and don’t forget the ice cream port.
