Took my truck there a while back for ball joints. the tech called me said my half shafts were worn (already knew it) BUT, if i wanted to bring him up new parts he would install them without charge. It was a win/win for both of us, he doesn't have to fight rusty parts and I didn't have to pay extra. True he was already in there but many places would try and pinch you for the extra costs. he quoted me a price for new half shafts and after calling around he had the best price. now here I am few years later and the price they gave me for mount and balance for 4 tires was the best around. I'm also getting an alignment. PROBLEM - Again this is why i like these guys. when they told me steering was lose and they cant align it, I said I'd love to have them do it but it's not in the budget right now. Rather then these guys saying - well, this is the cost to repair or come pick it up, Instead the guy at the desk tracks down the tech and finds out all it needs is a drivers side tie rod end. So again, they saved me time dealing with it. i'll be doing the tie rod end and heading right back up there for an alignment. I've called all over and some places are MORE then double. It's hard to find a car guy you can trust. Thanks a lot guys, Keep doing honest work at a great price and i'll send everyone I can your way.

Used them on several repaires. Price was high but work was ok. Then brought car in, they did work I did NOT want done and did not do what I wanted done. They still charged me for the work I did NOT want done. I fond out they lost their best mechanic. Will Not use them again.

I'm a shopper so I usually call American Tire last and always get a better price. Even though the prices are good the kindness in the staff needs to be complemented for a job well done. Honesty seems to be their motto. Will continue to do business there.

So far they have been honest and are reasonable with there prices on labor and stand behind there work.
