Oscar is a pit bull he is a wonderful dog residing at hernando county shelter. Oscar does not belong on doggy death row. Please help him

ASPCA of Brooksville FL gave me belief that people do care about not only animals but people too. When my husband was dying he wanted a kitten to sit by his side to pat. We went to ASPCA where we found an old arthritic tabby who didn't look too happy that he was in a shelter. We grabbed him and fostered him and changed his name from Garfield to Lewie and as he took over our home after my husband died I named him King Lewie. He never needed vet help until recently . ASPCA went with me and helped me thru this visit and I thank them for not just letting me adopt the King but to stand with me in his care. Donna Aho

Decent, Clean place... but they don't have enough volunteers and sometimes can't open to the public. Good, friendly people though.
