I have had Dr. Helm care for all of my animals since she she began practice in 1987. She is so caring and knowledgable and takes her time answering questions or explaining to me what is the matter with our pet. She saved our puppy after it was born by c-section and wasn't breathing. The care given by her and her staff during that emergency were phenomenal! I have many friends that also take their pets there and they could not be happier. I'm also proud of the fact that Dr. Helm serves on the State Board and National Board of Veterinary Medicine...I think it says a lot about her and her abilities as a doctor and the respect that those in her profession have for her.

Horrible vet. Killed 3 of our puppies during C!Section. Took 2 1/2 hours and left puppies in to die. Puppies should be out within 15 min of start. Brought 1 tech that didn't even know how to rip open the sac on the puppy. We had to do all work to save the puppies that did live. Had the nerve to charge us for each puppy when we did the work. Tech was on phone and smoking while puppies were dying. We are lucky our mom is till alive. She couldn't walk for 24 hours after on her own because of how long she had her under. Husband showed up on property in case we wouldn't pay as she knew what a horrible job she did. Paid $1035 for a service that killed 3 puppies. She then charged another $100 to come out when mom couldn't walk the next day. She did nothing for her. She offered $200 back after we threatened to sue her. We didn't accept it as more then that should have been offered. Just FYI she carries no malpractice insurance. I would run away from her and her no nothing tech.
