BEWARE!!! Madina Contracting Company run by Mohammed Parveje, is a horrible contractor, and does shoddy and poor quality work. He is also a con-artist! On January 7, 2015, I hired Madina Contracting to complete multiple projects in my home. The contract was written to include three payments, and the final payment would be paid once the work was completely finished. Within three days of signing the contract, and providing the first installment, Mr. Parveje indicated that he would need the second installment to purchase materials, and to pay his men. I found this odd, and reminded him that the contract indicated that a third of the work must be completed before the 2nd installment, but he indicated that the materials were more costly than anticipated, and would need funds sooner rather than later. I provided him with the second installment, although less than 1/3 of the work was completed. Within a week, he requested another payment to have the trash removed. Please note that after experiencing multiple requests for advanced payments two times in a row, I indicated that the last payment would not be provided until all of the work was completed. Of course, before the work was completed, Mr. Parvenu requested more funds. I refused to provide him with this payment until all of the work was completed, and Mr. Parveje proceeded to indicate that he would not complete the rest of the work. He had a temper tantrum, and proceeded to leave the house with materials purchased with my money! Since hiring a new contractor, I have learned that Madina Contracting did not complete most of the work, and it was all a rouse to pretend that the work was getting done. As such, most of the work was not completed. Furthermore, shortly after leaving my house, Mr. Parveje returned banging and kicking on my door demanding payment. As a result, I had to change my locks, as I am afraid that he will return to do bodily harm. Moreover, he has forwarded several text messages that were not only threatening and erratic, but included racist language. I advise everyone to beware of this contractor! His work is not only horrible, but his attitude, as well as the poor management of his financial affairs is indicative of someone whose character should be questioned and thoroughly scrutinized. Madina Contracting does a lot of work in minority communities, and as such, his racist comments and attitudes will be shared with that community.

BEWARE! Madina Contracting deserves NEGATIVE stars. This company not only performs shoddy work, but any work completed is of poor quality, and most incomplete. Although, a contract was signed, Mr. Purveja continued to return for more funds within less than a week of signing the contract. He continued to ask for advanced payments although the agreed upon work was not completed. After advancing two payments, I refused to provide the last payment until ALL of the work was completed. He refused to complete the remaining work, and became irate. After hiring a new contractor, I have learned that the work that was supposedly completed was just a rouse to get more funds. I had to change my locks and contact authorities to secure my safety. Moreover, Mohammed later forwarded texts that were not only aggressive, but contain racist and disgusting comments. Madina Contracting does a great deal of work in Harlem, however, the community must know that their work is horrible, and so is he!
