I use to love Fortunato Bros. Every birthday, holiday, special occasion I would walk 20 blocks just to get their cheese cake. Well, today was the last time!

I went there today and boy o-boy what a disappointment that was.!!

After 20 minutes of waiting, finally a girl asks me what would I like, all of the sudden a guy next to me appears with a coffee and she completely ignores me and goes straight to him! I said ' excuse me me miss, I believe I was here first and she STILL ignores me and starts to ask the guy in Spanish what kind of muffin he wants! I wait another 10 min, finally decide to get a teramisu and 3 small cheese cakes. 3 boxes with cakes are passed to me, I look at him and ask " Can I have a plastic bag so I can put those cakes in ?" He passes me the bag I say " Thank you" but he just gives me a look and walks away!". I go home after dinner try a cheese cake with my mom and OH MY GOD what a shame!!! - THE BOTTOM OF THE SMALL CHEESE CAKE IS A PLASTIC TOP FROM A COFFEE CUP!!!! The same type that you get with your morning coffee from a vendor guy! IMAGINE BEING AT A PARTY, AND SERVE THOSE CHEESE CAKES TO YOUR FRIENDS! That's not all, on top of that - those cheese cakes tasted like an EGG POWDER!!!!

What happened to Fortunato ?? Rude service, egg powder- NO THANKS! Never again I will go there!! I'm currently looking for a new favorite bakery. :)

This is the only bakery I ever purchase from. My wedding cake, my birthday cakes... my child's birthday cakes.. I buy only from Fortunato. I recommend only them.
