This was my first time to an allergist which was long overdue. Dr. Vassallo was patient with me and explained everything that was going to be done. He also explained the various options. I felt very comfortable and knowledge on the next steps on what I had to do as the patient.

Dr. Vassallo really cares about all his patients as well as his staff.

Dr. Vassallo has excellent bedside manner is totally professional. He takes down the history, discusses and reviews it with the patient so we are both understanding the same thing, evaluates it, is thoughtful and then proceeds with the examination to measure with the history. He it methodical, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain diagnoses and prognosis AND makes sure the patient UNDERSTANDS!!! He should be famous.

This was my first time visiting ENT and Allergy Associates. I am a dedicated Weill Cornell patient so this was not usually what I do. Dr. Vassallo was patient, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and experienced. We actually ended up chatting for about 20 minutes, lobbing questions back and forth. It felt great to have that type of experience.

Allergy shots for severe seasonal allergies is a major commitment, but so worth it--within one allergy season we saw enormous improvement. Dr. Vassallo and the allergy nurses and office staff are all amazing. Dr. Vassallo clearly explained the process and at each visit the staff is helpful, and frankly do a great job balancing answering your questions, with getting you in and out since the appointments for shots are frequent.

Dr. Vassallo and his staff are truly awesome They are patient, attentive and make sure that your visit runs as smoothly as the process for checking in. They answer questions and the office manager is always available to assist. The nurses and medical assistants are a pleasure. Amicable personalities overall. But must importantly the staff is compassionate. Dr. Vassallo is passionate about his specialty. He is knowledgeable with excellent bedside manner and patient rapport. I recommend him and the Brooklyn Heights office to everyone.

I got used to suffering with my symptoms and I was shocked to discover how allergic I am. I felt horrible that it took me this long to an allergist. Dr. Vassallo’s thorough explanation clicked with all the symptoms I have been experiencing and I’m excited by the treatment plan. Fingers crossed!!!
