Dr. Lionel Abitbol attended Yeshiva University where he graduated Cum Laude and received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. Dr. Abitbol attended The New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Following dental school, Dr. Abitbol completed his residency training in general dentistry with a focus in orthodontics, oral surgery and implantology at the Long Island College Hospital (LICH). Dr. Abitbol has completed many courses and fellowships in implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in the field and keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies. Dr. Abitbol is a standing member of the American Dental Association, Alpha Omega and the International Congress of Implantologists. Dr. Abitbol utilizes his extensive experience in the dental arena to provide the highest level of care in a gentle and compassionate manner. When Dr. Abitbol is not practicing dentistry he spends time with his wife Maya and their two children, Oliver and Amélie. He is an avid runner, triathlete, and Tough Mudder.
