Al-Noor Elementary and Intermediate School, located in Brooklyn, N.Y., offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school was founded in 1995, and is one of the leading Islamic schools in the state of New York. It offers various Islam-based educational programs, such as Quran competitions. Al-Noor Elementary and Intermediate School offers various programs, such as English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. The school also provides preschool, Quran studies, counseling and guidance, and computer and technology programs. Its building features various facilities, such as a cafeteria, staff room, copy center, science and computer laboratories, and an auditorium.
