This review is for the fertility branch of practice longevity.



Though acupuncture on it's own didn't get me pregnant (it did regulate my cycle though), using it to boost our chances of success with IUI sure worked! I'm pregnant with twins! I did it for three months prior to starting IUI, which is what the research says works best, and I'm convinced it played a part in our success. I was on clomid, which is notorious for thinning your uterine lining which is counter productive to conception, and my lining was 10mm the day of IUI! I continued acupunture for the first trimester to prevent miscarriage, and I just made it to 12 weeks without any problems.

Erika was amazing through the whole thing. She was my councelor, friend, confidant, and of course expert. She suggested so many alternative things to try for fertility that I had never heard of, and I've done a ton of research! I swear she knew more than my doctor sometimes. Her knowledge was especially helpful in between doctors appointments when I just couldn't wait to find out what my numbers/tests meant. So many times I went in freaking out about the way I had interpreted my numbers/tests from the Internet, or just some discouraging thing I had read, and she always made me feel better.

I wouldn't have made it through this past year without her.

I only considered acupuncture after numerous M.D.s concurred that nothing could be done to improve my chronic pain condition. The best that Medical Doctors could offer was a lifetime on narcotic pain meds. I found it unacceptable when I was "graduated" from Vicodin to Morphine. I was still in severe pain, but now I got to be tired & nauseated.

Being of limited means, (and many small-minded and/or stingy insurance companies won't cover this treatment), I borrowed the money to start being treated by Jesse Foy. Within a short time, Jesse arranged a discounted rate that I could comfortably afford.

By my 4th session, I was already noticing some improvement. Jesse is far and away the most sincere and caring person who has ever treated me. I have been seeing him now for several months.

I no longer take any pain meds stronger than Advil, I have full use of my neck, and the very pronounced limp, that I had resigned myself to "living with", is gone. What was once severe and constant pain has been reduced to occasional discomfort.

I had spent years suffering alone, doing little more that waiting to die.

Now, I go on long walks 4-5 times a week and I just joined the Y so I can start swimming again. I now look at my future as filled with possibilities.

There are not words that can express my deep gratitude to Jesse and his Practice. They have, quite literally, saved my life. Though I was raised in the Christian faith, I had never believed in miracles. But I do now, and so does my daughter who is excited and very grateful to have her Mom back.

If you are on the fence about whether or not to try this form of medicine, I strongly suggest you jump on in. Sometimes the grass really is greener. It certainly is for me.
