Bob Thorne (Owner) of Bob's Tree Service - AMAZING. He and his team (which are mostly family members) just cut down a 50 ft+ pine tree that was on the side of my home. Watching him cut it down was an experience, he gets down and dirty. He is very cautious about each cut made - this was reassuring especially since the tree was next to a wooden fence - the fence is completely intact along with my home! We originallly contracted him to cut the tree but after seeing the neighboring trees, we asked him to cut 1 small adjacent one and clean up the others - the additional cost was very reasonable and I didn't feel like he saw an opportunity and ran with it. They left the yard clean, with the exception of the stump - you would never know we cut a tree. I would recommend to everyone to have Bob assist you.

I selected Bob Thorne Tree Service from the internet on the basis that the company is a member of the Better Business Bureau. I was not mistaken in my selection. This company is an exception in the firewood delivery service. I ordered four cords of hardwood and within a few hours two trucks and a delivery team were backing down my 600 foot driveway. The driver negotiated the driveway with ease which is difficult. Mr. Thorne was with the team. He assured me that my order of four cords of wood is being delivered, nothing less. He was prompt, considerate and Honest. Honest is the operative word since most wood dealers will short your wood delivery and fade with no further contact. Bob Thorne Tree Service will be the company I will buy wood from next year. As he states, he wants to please his customers so there is repeat business. I would not hesitate to contact him for tree work or snow removal.
