I had a leather jacket I needed an additional snap on each sleeve, which I thought was a pretty simple task. It already had two snaps and I ask that a third one be located evenly spaced as the others were. After over a week leaving it there I finally got it back and the new snaps were located only a half distance from the next one on both sleeves and on one sleeve was not even in line. This extremely poor work is not even repairable because of the location. It ruined my new jacket.

I took a pair of dress shoes in to have the heal repaired and have some stitching repaired on top of the shoe. He did a great job and was very pleased. It's hard to find a good cobbler anymore and at Myer's I found one. I had previously tried across the street and was really dissatisfied with workmanship.

I came to request a simple service: shoe stretch. Right away, I did not feel welcomed there. The attitude was: leave your product, will charge you upfront, but NO Guarantees. What happened to the old saying "Customer Satisfaction comes First". I wanted some reassurance for the service I was going to pay but I received none. At the end, the repairman refused to provide me service stating that he did not want any problems. I left and took my shoes to the shoe repair store across the street where I was welcomed with a smile face and positive attitude.
