I came in 2 weeks ago and ask the owner if a Rasp Moscato was sweet, I told him I didnt like sweet wines and don't know much about wines. He said No, it WASNT sweet, it was " fruit sweet", and because of the fruit it was not very sweet. I depended and purchased on HIS WORD! Which apparently means nothing. I went tonight and was buying a different bottle that a guy up the street was more honest and knowledgeable about, but due to being elderly and living in chronic pain I can't always make the walk, tho I will try harder in the future. So the owner argues with me after I told him the wine WAS VERY SWEET and according to the internet, Moscato is the sweetest wine BECAUSE of the fruit, and the least alcohol content. I told him I would have rather heard him admit he didn't know than tell me something that wasn't true so I wasted my $10, (I live on disability). He said fine, bring the bottle back I'll give you the $10 back, I said I don't have the bottle it was thrown away, which you do to empty bottles, that was at least a couple weeks ago. And I said he remembers me so why dont you just give me something off this one, he said CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! I said why, because I said you told me something that wasn't true? Because you should have know it was very sweet and rather than say that or admit you didn't know, you let me buy a wine I didn't like? No, he says cause you want something free, first something off isn't free and I reminded him that HE SAID BRING IN THE BOTTLE FOR MY 10 BACK. He said he can't send it back to the company without a bottle! So JAY...Its the suppliers fault that you LIED and said the wine was sweet?? The supplier can pay for your mistake-OUTRIGHT LIE, but YOU won't take responsibility for a few dollars. I told him don't worry I'll go somewhere else from know on of which he said GOOD. I hope others stop buying from this man who believes he can treats his customers SO BADLY!
