Parents Without Partners is an international, nonprofit educational organization that supports single parents and their children. Founded in 1957, the organization assists custodial and noncustodial, separated, divorced and widowed parents. It organizes more than 200 programs and chapters, and its chapters have up to 1,500 members. It also offers various educational activities that include group discussions; lectures by psychologists, lawyers and other professionals; study groups; training seminars; leadership and personal growth support programs. The organization provides family activities that include holiday activities, potluck suppers, fun and educational outings, picnics, hikes, camping and bowling for children and their parents.
