Appraising Jewelry

I have tried getting a ring my grandmother gave me before she past 6 years ago and and at that time the guy that do the appraisals I had appointment to get it done and get called to tell me he had a medical emergency and he would call me to get it done so waited over 3 months got a call from him and made another apt and again got a call for medical reasons and he would call when he was able well still no calls years later and still would love to get my grams ring appraised.
