Terrible customer service. Terrible communication.We hired them to do a simple job, we were quoted a flat fee, and then were told it would be 'easy'. Double the amount of time later, we blew through our set budget, and were being billed for items we didn't approve.When we asked for clarification, as well as knowing how much more it would cost, we were basically told "If you don't let us do our job, then we're going to go ahead and sever the relationship."If you have money to piss away, and like being treated like a pee-on this is definitely the place to go. Otherwise, find someone else in town.

I've known John Mitchell since at least 1977 when I was a Deputy Sheriff and he was both a defense attorney and a Pro-Tem Judge in the Kitsap County Superior Court. As a deputy on the other end of examination on the witness stand, John Mitchell was the quintessential professional attorney. He attacked the state case and not the state witness and if there wasn't a defense case to be made, he advised his client(s) about alternatives rather than being a "show puppy" to his client.John Mitchell has been elected by his peers as the President of the Kitsap County Bar Association. He has numerous awards from the community and through the Bar Association for his work.Since my retirement in 1984, I estatablished two legal messenger service and process service companies. One in Seattle and one in Port Orchard. The Sanchez Law Firm was an original client of my Port Orchard office and is still a client after 28 years.I've worked hand in hand with Melanie Raby, John Mitchell's personal secretary, for more than 28 years and I state, unequivocally, that she is probably the best, or at least among the VERY best, paralegals I've ever worked with. I know that when she sends out documents for service they have "all the bases covered", unlike many other law offices that I have had in the past and had to constantly correct on matters of what is needed to satisfy sufficiency of service.John Mitchell and Sanchez Law Office is a legal service I often recommend to my friends, and I have worked for literally hundreds of attorneys. I say this unequivocally.As for the single bad review, I can only say that every attorney has at least one or two disgruntled clients, even though the attorney has tried his or her level best to accomodate that client. Sometimes clients expect attorneys to present a case that has no merit or to do things that are not legally ethical. Sometimes clients are simply .. for lack of a better work, not mentally competent to judge the merits of their own case and therefore blame the attorney. Cranky, very rude and just plain mean receptionist and a paralegal named Melanie. Don't hire these attorney if you want to be treated with respect and dignity. By the way they treat potential clients its obvious have enough clientele and don't want anymore. Don't ask for any clarification on legal procedures because they are just to busy and can't be bothered by those who need legal advice. Feel sorry for the attorneys who probably don't realize how their staff treats people in the community seeking legal help.

I've worked with Larry Paulson and I found him to be very easy to speak with, responsive, & extremely knowledgeable. Plus the staff is always friendly and courteous. I'd recommend this law firm to anyone.
