Made a massive difference to daily life, one of the best things I've ever done. The service and aftercare was excellent, the staff were very helpful and informative. I would recommend the surgery to anyone, my vision is great it was totally painless. I wish I'd done it years earlier. You cannot beat waking up in the morning and being able to see. Its like HD vision for my eyes. Do it!

I originally had my eyes lasered by Excel Laser Vision in 1996 , I was 26, and I was short sighted, this changed my life completely, before I couldnt even see my alarm clock when I woke and then I could drive without glasses and see a persons face across a crowded room, something I was alway embarrased about. I had perfect vision until I reached around 38, by this age your eye naturally start to degenerate, and I was working on computers all day and my eyes started to strain, I was prescribed a low prescription in one eye, the other was fine. I continued with this for 5 years when I decided I would like to have the one eye retreated, I got intouch with Excel Laser Vision and as I was a previous client I had a special rates, which was a bonus! I decided to go ahead in August of 2013, there was a clinic in the next town, I went in on the Wednesday afternoon and was out within the hour, I spent the afternoon in bed and went back to work in the Friday although I didnt use the computer unti

It really is quick, painless and it has completely fixed my sight! I wore lenses and glasses for years but not anymore! I've got 20/20 vision now ... It's amazing!

Overall I am very happy with the results from Excel Laser Vision. The staff were very friendly and calming, setting my nerves at ease on the day. The surgeon was friendly and answered all my questions, made sure I understood the process and the possible results. With both my eyes being around the -5.00 and with astigmatisms of around 2.00 in each eye I would be happy to get the prescription down to -1. The end result was a mild astigmatism left in each eye (0.25), my left eye had no prescription left, right eye +0.25. This is amazing to me, I am extremely happy.

It took me five years, and a lot of procrastination, to make the decision to have Laser surgery. The only regret I have is not getting it done sooner! Excel Laser Vision were amazing, so reassuring and helpful at all times throughout the process. Their personal, polite and friendly service was first class.

I feel the whole experience was amazing, from the 1st consultation appointment to the time I was discharged. I am still coming to terms with it after 8 months . After 30 years of wearing glasses it feels a miracle has happened. I best bit is when I tell people that all it involves is looking at a squiggly light and it is over in minutes and I can instantly see when all is completed. It is a little scary to have this procedure done, but you have to see past this and look and what you will be gaining. The only downfall was that as I was a women who wears make up, this was not allowed for couple of weeks which was really hard as I was back at work and I needed to look kinda normal. You do need to follow the aftercare plan as they know what they are talking about. I would definitely recommend this company and the treatment that I chose.

Treatment, staff, cost, before and after care great. Thank you. Administration - not so good. Sometimes this was due to technology i.e. laser not working ( can't be helped), fine I'd much rather they be honest and for my own safety rather than give me any less than perfect service (and sight!) but re-organising treatment was rather a nightmare. However, I'm very happy with ALL staff, they ALWAYS tried everything they could to help, deliver, reassure me etc. Very happy with the treatment. I now have 20/20 vision again. Very happy with pre and post care. Very thorough, quick, reassuring, feel very confident to go back at any time for any slight query I might have.

I had mono vision laser surgery as I did not want to wear glasses for reading/computer work, which means one eye is short sighted, the other is long. I had perfect vision immediately after the operation, took an hour and a half of having streaming tears running down my face, but no pain. After that it was great, was seeing things for the first time, like HD! The only downside was that I had a few headaches for a few weeks from time to time, but since then nothing. Now nearly 4 years in June, my eyesight is good. I have had one eye test at my local optician, 20-20 vision, it's great! :)My after care was good, when I went back the day after the surgery, they couldn't believe how quick my eyes had healed, it was like I had never had it done. Yes it's a pain to have the eye drops and pads etc, for a couple of weeks, but well worth it. No more glasses/contact lenses. The old saying goes, wish I had done it years ago, but hey better late than never!

Truly the best decision. Within a matter of hours I had brilliant sight, now I forget I ever wore glasses. From start to finish staff are informative and friendly. Have recommended this to friends and they were just as pleased with the results.

would recommend lazer eye surgery, but remind people that they will not get perfect vision. My eyes were corrected to within 0.75 or better, which is fine for everyday use, but do not expect to see every detail over the distance of a football pitch. For me the process was 95% painless with very slight 'tired/dry' eyes for a day, but I was fine after 24 hours and the eyepatch removed. So the process was pain free and its great waking up in the morning and not fumbling for my glasses or contacts.

Excellent , well worth the money , slight discomfort for a few hours . But I was able to see straight through it

Its a year now since I had my eyes lasered at Excel Laser Vision and have never looked back. It was a professional service from start to finish. The consultants gave good and sound advice giving me all the options. I chose to have one eye lasered and have managed well. Fabulous service and would recomnend to anyone. Seriously, I had ummedd and aagghhheedd for years about getting the laser eye procedure done! Contact lenses were a pain and increasingly causing me problems in terms of comfort. I bit the bullet over a year ago, after my wee brother had it done with Excel Laser Vision. I felt so reassured at the first visit by the support available, as despite being in my late 20's I was scared as hell and tears did show! On the day of the op itself, one of the kind staff actually came in and held my hand to reassure me, and the aftercare was second to none. Wish I had done it years ago, but honestly over 18 months on I still can believe what I can see all on my own. Had my first sunny holiday there, and jumping in the pool was a pleasure!!! So I seriously recommend laser eye surgery, but in particular Excel Laser Vision as team was fab! My advice - Do NOT look at videos online and scare yourself, just believe they will look after you.

Excel Laser Vision has given me the freedom of not having to wear glasses. The professionalism of all the staff made me feel relaxed and in good hands. The care after was second to none. Yes I wear glasses to read but being able to go on a night out without glasses is great and I love being able to wear sunglasses. I totally encourage anyone thinking of having laser surgery to go for it and feel the freedom.

I had Lasik monovision and my dominant eye developed astigmatism Excel Laser Vision did not discharge me and i had Lasek on my left eye to correct the problem everything is great and Excel Laser Vision never gave up thank you

I would highly recommend having Laser Eye Surgery with Excel Laser Vision!! I was very worried about it, but for years I've hated wearing glasses and so I was determined to go ahead with the laser eye surgery. I went into Excel Laser Vision express, and from the first chat the staff were lovely and friendly, and know you by name. They chatted to me through all the options, so I knew clearly what was going to happen, and then on the day of the op, the staff and surgeon were very encouraging and supportive going through this. It was a great experience and I found it fascinating how it works, and how clever the surgeon is and the technology to be able to correct my eyesight! it wasn't painful, but only uncomfortable and scratchy for the afternoon after the op. Then it was amazing to be able to see properly, and feel the wind in your face!! So a massive Big Thank you!!!!
