I am writing this review because I based my decision to hire Custom Wood Creations based on the above good reviews. Read mine before deciding on them.



When Aaron tells you that he can match any color on any wood, don't believe him. He can not.

After showing 2 guys a piece of furniture 4 times, giving them a drawer from that piece for over a week (20"x7" front) and them bringing over a sample (2"x6") at dusk with 1 coat of stain and no finish that did match my piece, they got my cabinets color completely wrong. I wanted deep espresso/red. I got light brown/orange. Aaron seemed insulted that I dare tell him the color was wrong and wouldn't leave until I paid in full because "he had to pay the guys" (which indicates company cash flow problems). Upon getting back to his shop and seeing the sample, he called and said that he was wrong. The sample was in fact darker. He sent someone back out in an attempt to fix the color but putting orange on top of orange just makes dark orange.

I picked out tile, granite and paint based on a specific wood color. My room looks odd and mismatched because of the cabinets. We now have to hire a professional to get the correct color.

The cabinets are customized and of good quality. If you want painted cabinets or are flexible about stain color, go with them. If you want a specific color, find someone else.

Aaron did a fantastic job on my cabinets, I talked to so many companies and only Aaron was able to do what I needed, I would recommend him and Custom Wood Creations to do all my Cabinet and Woodworking needs . I just cant thank him enough.
