My friend and I went to Cheddars this pass Saturday (4/28/18)night around 9pm. We gave our name, got the notification buzzer and waited. We were told it was a 20 minute wait. We waited for about 50 minutes and saw people who signed in after us get seated before us. I asked the young men at the desk how much longer did we have to wait. They looked at the list and noticed my name and number of buzzer wasn’t on there. I asked if they forgot to put my name on the list and they avoided answering by stating “we’ll seat you next”. When we were finally taken back to a table, the young man didn’t greet us nor did he apologize. He put our menu’s and silver on the table and walked away. He didn’t say someone will be with you shortly or anything. This was a horrible experience. I understand they were a little busy but we were sitting right next to the check in booth so for them to completely overlook us and seat others before us show that they were unorganized and not paying attention to detail. But for them to not answer my questions when I asked if they forgot to add us to the list, not apologize and not speak to us, take us to a table, drop the menu and silverware on the table and walk away without saying a word is disrespectful and despicable. We left because I refuse to give my money to an establishment that can't even respect nor acknowledge their customers. The quality of customer service in this place had decreased drastically in comparison to what it was when it first opened. Some of the team members certainly need extensive customer service training. I was completely disappointed in my experience. This would not be a place I would recommend to friends.
