Bad experience having our one deer processed here. Was rushed out side dropping off, had a very young man who did not know the process help us. In the end, all of our scrap was processed, we understood only the minimum of 12 pounds would be made into product and the rest would be turned into ground. They called to tell us it was done and that our bill was over $350 dollars and that is after we paid $80 down. In the end they processed all of our scrap, plus it doubles in weight once they add their product and then they charge you by the pound. So for example $4.50 per pound for meat sticks really turns into $9.00 per pound because they charge you the $4.50 per pound after they add product and the weight doubles. It does not even cost that much to buy their meat sticks. All in all it cost us over $400 to process one deer at VonHansons and we have no ground, which we wanted and pounds and pounds of product we didn't even want.
