A Touch of Glass was hired to dust the shelving and to clean the wooden floors and staircase for a house going on the market. The cleaning crew undid all the staging in the house, left the great room and study a jumbled mess, piled furniture pieces in the garage, and ended the job by walking out without their drinks cups and leaving the doors open. The crew reported 11 hours of labor to the company.

When the unacceptable condition of the home was reported to the company, the owner used the “blame the customer” approach to respond without even coming out to view the mess. Eight weeks later I received a bill for eleven hours of labor. I must agree it would have taken about eleven collective hours or a team of working together for about two hours and forty-five minutes to make that type of mess.
