I was suffering for a long time with sleeplessness, anxiety and other life limiting disorders. Being relatively healthy and normal with relations with others, I could not find any doctor who would carefully listen. My insurance at the time referred me to a doctor wherein I was tested and evaluated to ascertain the problem. Then, I was referred to Dr. Veronica Motiram. She listened carefully, read my background/the tests given by the other doctor, then detailed a plan for me. At this particular time, no one else would prescribe even a low dose for panic disorder, saying it would "be addictive" and I should meditate, exercise and have talk therapy! Not satisfactory at all, but after I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Motiram--I received the best advice one could ask for. She prescribed low dose medication, carefully evaluated (listened patiently) me and I would return once a month for her to note my progress. Exhilarating! She is the finest, well spoken doctor and putting you a ease. Had I not had the benefit of referral to her, I would surely be in poor condition, when in fact my personality and positivity improved 100% To this day (Oct. 2020) I see her when my appt. is scheduled, and consider her the reason I am happier, can sleep a full night, and not be told that medicine should be the last resort. Rather, everyone who visits her is comfortable and finally able to improve themselves and not be deprived of being calm and positive. Great doctor. It's always a pleasure to talk to her. Her office is clean, staff is friendly and she keep a pretty punctual schedule.
