About Dr. Rubin Stuart A. Rubin, MD, MPH, provides physiatry, pain management, and acupuncture services to patients at his Boynton Beach, Florida office. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as pain management. Dr. Rubin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology at State University of New York at Binghamton. He then attended medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla. He is also in the process of earning his Master’s of Public Health from New York Medical College. Dr. Rubin completed his internship in internal medicine at Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing, New York. He then completed his residency at the department of rehabilitation medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. He rounded out his medical training with a pain management fellowship in the department of anesthesiology at State University of New York - Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He also completed the coursework necessary to obtain New York State certification in medical acupuncture through the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture at the University of California at Los Angeles and American College of Acupuncture in New York City. Dr. Rubin is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is also a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Board of Medical Examiners. He was a part of the first group of physiatrists in the nation to receive a certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the subspecialization in pain management. He has also appeared on several radio, television, and media segments on the topic of pain management. He has held various academic appointments and dedicated his expertise to several publications, lectures, and presentations at scientific meetings. Dr. Rubin stays up-to-date on the latest research in his field, and is a member of the Florida Medical Association, Medical Education Committee, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and New York Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Rubin is also a licensed tour guide of New York City.
