Been going to this place for years but I wont be going back. The doctors are very courteous and insightful but when it comes out to the lobby area with their employees, it seems as if they don't notice any of their customers. After my eye exam, I waited almost 30 minutes until I got the courage to go up to ask someone when I could get consultated for frames. During that 30 minutes, 2 employees were working on customers and the rest were sitting around gossiping and talking. I thought after 10 minutes that they had turns or something they needed to take with customer, but someone just came in and they got to it right away. I sat for so long and they didnt even notice. Basically they lost my folder somewhere, saw me sit there for a very long time and didnt do anything about it. Very unhappy. They need better employees who pay attention to their customers.

Has really gone down hill.

During my last (also final) visit I had just needed to order a 6 month supply of contacts. One member of the staff had sent me to the back to another staff member. That staff member then then sent me to yet another staff member. After finally getting my order in, they tried to overcharge me and my insurance. After finally finishing I was told mt contacts would be in in a few days and they would call. After a week I called them and they told me they weren't in yet and they would call when they were. Two months later with no call I called and told them to just cancle the orderand refund my insurance. Wouldn't you know it that that also took them a month to do. Would not recommend at all.

I was appalled at the way I was treated during my most recent and FINAL time at ValuVision, especially since I have been a customer for SIX YEARS. The doctors were courteous, but once it came time to purchase my eye-glasses I was treated very rudely by employees and was repeatedly misled concerning the price of my eye-glasses and the nature of my insurance coverage.

It took several conversations in the store and one over the phone to finally work out a situation in which I was able to buy eye-glasses. Each person gave me a different price, and everybody quoted a different deal that the store was offering. By the end of the day, the store had cheated me out of the buy one get one free deal that is standard when purchasing eyeglasses (originally quoted to me as well as being the case for the last six years) and insisted on charging me for a contact lens fitting which consisted solely of training a new employee on how to use a computer, not to mention I didn't purchase contacts.

They do not care about you. Know that you are dealing with bureaucratically minded employees who do not know how to do something if they can't key it into a computer.
