I have been into this store numerous times with wonderful treatment. Everything that I've done with them (or seen happen while I was there with other customers) has been fair, honest and balanced. Just look at their eBay ratings! When I have sold my coins, I of course realize that I am selling items quickly and simply, that they (Tebo Coin) might not even need or be able to resell anytime soon. So getting the inflated Red Book retail price is not a reasonable expectation. Likewise, with purchasing coins or bullion, I understand that EVERY business must make some kind of profit and I've never felt taken advantage of after my purchases at Tebo Coin. I've had my own business for over 25 years and I appreciate the education and equitable treatment that I have received here.

I am new to investing in coins, but researched investing in gold bullion coins (e.g gold eagles/gold buffalo's). I purchased two Gold Buffalo's from Tebo in what they claimed was the original mint packaging. When I purchased the coins, everything looked legitimate in the store. After further inspection at home, I noticed the plastic was open on the bottom and the coins could be pulled out. I brought the coins to another coin dealer and they determined they were fake coins from China. I brought the coins back to Tebo for a refund and they refused claiming that they cannot guarantee the authenticity of the coins they sell considering the various sources they buy from. My lawsuit is still pending.

I called to discuss their fees, because they seemed significantly higher than what I had understood. Before I was even allowed to ask my questions or make my points, I was threatened with "treble damages" if I didn't just go through with what they demanded. Pretty nasty.

these guys are great they know their business well and were very helpful and honest with me for my first purchase of gold and silver.
