Did a fantastic job on my families car . Went way out of his way to correct any problems I had from another service shop in Boulder City . Did not charge for most of his repairing of the "other shops" mistakes . Stayed past closing to make sure my auto was correct to my satisfaction . Would recommend highly ! !

I wanted to take a moment this morning to recognize a great citizen and business in your community. I’m not sure what kind of citizenship awards that your chamber has available but Richard Neidlinger qualifies for top honors.This past weekend I traveled to Lake Havasu City, AZ to pick up an old truck that my Father left for my 16 year old son after his passing a few months ago. This trip started out as a wonderful Father Son bonding time that was sorely needed. After spending the weekend in Arizona registering and working on the truck to make it road worthy, my son and I got in his truck and began the long trip home to Salt Lake City, UT. Everything went beautifully until we crossed the bridge on hwy 93 just south of Boulder when the engine died. As it was Sunday morning, our options were definitely limited. Big Johns Towing, of Boulder, suggested calling Boulder City Auto Service & Rod Works, Inc. and gave us Richard Neidlingers home phone number because the business is not open on Sunday.Richard answered the phone immediately and as friendly as can be, told Big Johns Towing to bring the truck to his shop and he would meet us there. Richard was able to diagnose the problem but was not able to get the part we needed on Sunday. Richard allowed us to leave the truck with him so that he could fix the problem and also offered to store it for us for 2 weeks until we could make it back to pick it up. Luckily, we were traveling with family in another car and I was able to get my son back to Salt Lake City to start his first day of school this morning.I wanted to make sure that this great example of citizenship and integrity did not go un noticed in your community. People like Richard Neidlinger are a great asset and have made your community shine for me and my son in a time of need and emotion. Our Father, Son experience was enhanced by the example Mr. Neidlinger set instead of being ruined by misfortune.

Richard at Boulder City Auto Service and Rod Works is a solid shop owned by two very hard working people who have been dedicated to Boulder City for more than 15 years. Richard (Mechanic and co-owner) goes out of his way to help people, offering honest advice and solid service. His integrity and work is solid and his personality is welcoming and helpful - something that is missing in this world today!

This shop is such a disappointment. I responded to their ad bolstering a good reputation with the chamber. The man who answered the phone had an attitude problem. They quoted outlandish prices. Horrible service and horrible attitude! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
