I had my car serviced with Big O tire in Boulder City a couple months ago. I needed tires and an alignment which turned into struts and shocks as well (front wheel drive Hyundai). Fortunately, they could do it all right away. The only problem was the tires I had called the store about could be gotten for my car from the warehouse, they were not in store.

I was told, if I remember correctly, yes they have that tire for my car. So, fast forward.... What tire can I get, the Big O tire. Which is having a promotion or a full price Bridgestone. So with the Big O tire going in my car and all the work completed in a timely fashion, everything went smooth. I know my struts and shocks needed replacing because they were original and I have 178,000 miles on it.

Everything is great here except the on hand tire selection. If you want a specific tire call it in a few days in advance. But remember, Big O tires are made by Cooper tires, so not so bad.

Yesterday, my truck picked up a screw and got a slow leak. I ended up taking the tire off to bring to Big O Tire. I was in a hurry though. I just kind of ran in asked if I could leave it and pick it up tomorrow. We discussed the fixing of it and i said I got to go. I shouted my name over my shoulder as I jumped in my car and left. I came back next day it was fixed and they told me no charge.

No charge. No charge for fixing flats. Now I don't see a free service much anymore and this is a pleasure to see. I am glad to have found a friendly place to help me with my car.

Disgrace to BC!

Disgrace to BC! I brought my car in for a tire repair yesterday hoping to support the local tire store. Initially, I was told that I damaged my tire beyond repair because I had driven it flat. Come to find out(from another store) the tire's sidewall was damaged from the object that punctured the tire, not from being driven flat. When I attempted to purchase the tire, they quoted me $300 including install for 1 new tire. I went home and did some research and found that the tire retailed for only $160 on the Goodyear website. I called back and gave them a chance to correct their mistake, but instead they claimed that anyone who offered me those prices was trying to sell blemished tires and they only sell new tires. Creative excuse, but completely dishonest or uninformed at best. I was forced to drive 15 miles to Discount Tire to get my new tire at a reasonable price, that 15 mile drive saved me $130 for just one tire. Big O Tires brings in business by claiming to be the 'Local Tire Store,' but my experience is that they are more like a local trap. Avoid this place, or at least plan to do your own research before you pay their prices...they are not to proud to RIP YOU OFF!
