Armstrong Duct & Vent provides commercial air duct, exhaust duct, dryer vent, and chimney cleaning and maintenance services throughout New England. Armstrong Hearth & Home provides residential air duct, exhaust duct, dryer vent, and chimney cleaning services. We also sell and service residential woodstoves, pellet stoves, and gas fireplaces and stoves, in addition to outdoor fireplaces and the Big Green Egg ceramic cooker. Our family-owned and operated company — now in its third generation — was started in 1965 as a heating company in Manchester, New Hampshire. We serve most of New England as one of the oldest, largest, and most experienced air duct, exhaust duct, and dryer vent cleaning and chimney service companies in the United States. High level of expertise and training The Armstrong office is staffed full time and provides 24-hour on-call service for emergencies. Our technicians and project managers are trained and certified in air duct cleaning by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). These same technicians are trained in accordance with general practices and guidelines set forth by industry best practices and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 211. We provide ongoing continuing education training to our technicians to ensure they are knowledgeable about the latest practices and innovations when working with our customers. Armstrong became a NADCA member company in 1990 and is one of the oldest NADCA member companies. One of our owners has served on the NADCA board for a number of years and provides duct cleaning training at NADCA meetings. Latest equipment and experienced technicians Armstrong uses state-of-the-art portable power vacuum equipment in conjunction with high-powered custom compressed air tools and brushes. This equipment is used by our highly skilled and certified technicians and project managers to ensure the highest quality service. Armstrong is both an installation and service company under one roof. We have the certifications and experience to install and repair items that we sell, such as gas fireplaces, gas stoves, woodstoves, pellet stoves, Class-A chimneys, vent pipes, dryer vents, chimney caps, air filters, and UV light systems.
