Simply great to work with. Their bid came in $2000 less than the other 2 we got. Their professionalism and work was second to none. I highly recommend Dale and Edmisten Heating & Cooling, Inc. Since installed my unit has already saved us $2000+. Love going local.

I am on a limited budget and got many estimates from all over the state. I can honestly say that not only did Edmisten HVAC listen to my needs and budget constraints, Mr.Edisten assured me that the job would be done with the utmost in professionalism. Mr. Edisten (John) personally came to my home to inspect the thirty year old units, write out a reasonable estimate and let me know when the crew would be arriving. He told me what to expect during the installation process and how long it would take. (he told me two and a half days for two -2ton units in a two story house.). Well, the crew arrived on time on the first day with two more installers than John had originally told me. The site supervisor introduced himself and his crew then told me exactly what they would be doing...step by step. He answered a couple of questions for us then got to the task at hand. The crew lined all flooring and stairs with plastic and drop cloths to protect the floors.

The end of the first day, they cleaned up all the messes created by dragging out the old duct work, tools, etc. They told us they would be done by the following day, a full day early!

The next day was even more seamless as they completed the installation. They were extremely conscience of clean up and did a thorough job. John, the owner kept in constant contact with the crew and went so far as to drive the three hours from Boone to Wendell ( east of Raleigh) to inspect the finished job. He covered every inch of the outside to ensure not one wire, screw or piece of plastic was left. We are so happy to have a toasty house again. Looking forward to the electric bill and the summer to have a blissfully cool house on the 105 degree days!

Products are fine as far as I can tell. Customer relations and service are not all they should be. Currently dealing with them over a problem with HVAC system. Had to come out twice and I had to insist on a second visit before they were able to diagnose the problem. First tech tried to claim dirty filters were the cause. Not so. Now there's a delay getting the part and installing under warranty because of the holiday, etc. Typical.

this company is very sorry on there service and they have sorry equipment i have had a heat pump installed by them for about 2 weeks and have had nothing but trouble out of it and now it does not work at all they now that was the only heat i had now i have none they keep saying i am on the list to have a service tech to come out and was supposed to on 1-28-10 and havew not seen them or heard from them i would highly not recommend this company to any one
