The purpose of the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame is to educate society on the historical and present value of American agriculture and to honor leadership in agribusiness and academia by providing education, information, experience and recognition. Commonly known as the Ag Center, it received a Federal Charter in 1960 and is funded by private and corporate donations, and revenue generated by admissions, memberships, special events and facility rentals. The Ag Center offers special events throughout the year, and guided educational tours for schools and groups of all ages. The facilities are available for rent and ideal for weddings, receptions, company picnics, corporate retreats, meetings, family reunions and birthday parties. Fun activities available include train rides, game areas, hay rides and living history demos. It is located in Bonner Springs, Kan.
