Several years ago I went to another ENT group in Boise and was treated like a number. Then my children's pediatrician referred me to Dr. Goltry and he was marvelous with my children. He's been our ENT doctor since. When I had serious vertigo, he diagnosed me correctly, and the vertigo has been controlled ever since.

I took my son to Dr. Goltry on a Saturday. He was planning to meet another patient in his office for a dressing removal post surgery. My son has had numerous nose bleeds over the last year. Dr. Goltry cauterized his nose and fixed the problem on a Saturday. He also cauterized my husbands nose several years ago and he has yet to have a nose bleed. Dr. Goltry takes his own call - numerous times I have called him expecting to get an answering service, but get to talk with him instead. He is the last of a great generation of physicians.

Dr. Goltry treated me back in the mid 80's and continued treating me until my insurance ran out in the early 90's. He corrected a botched surgery for an inner ear infection by a previous surgeon. He was very professional, was always polite and respectful. I was happy to see he is still serving patients. I would highly recommend him. A year ago, during my first doctor exam since Dr. Goltry I mentioned my cholesteatoma surgery. She was training a medical student that day and was excited for her and the student to examine the results. When I asked how it looked, she said it looked GREAT. I was so relieved. THANKS Dr. Goltry!

I'm not sure what this person was talking about but they seem to want to cut and paste the nonsense as much around the web as possible. I have been a patient (and consider myself a friend) of Dr. Goltry for 10 years now. He has always been respectful and was instrumental in saving my life! I'm sorry this other person seems to think he's not 'nice' enough to her hispanic-ness but I can tell anyone who wants that he's not biased against hispanics or anyone else. The only message I've gotten from him is that the government has ruined healthcare...and that a lot of that started due to greed of a large number of physicians back in the '60s, when free handouts through Medicare started. About the only people I have ever seen Dr. Goltry disrespect are some of our elected government officials and those political types that think socialized medicine is the only right way to have doctors work. That being said, politics is not Dr. Goltry's primary interest....his patients are. I've been in his office pretty much every month or two, and the patients are always his priority. I see happy, smiling faces leaving...not angry ones. My only thought is that there is a political agenda in the other review, so hopefully this one balances things out a little.
