My fiance and I recently purchased an engagement ring at Jared. At first, they were really considerate and helpful. About a month after we had the ring, they called and told us they put the wrong diamond in my ring. We took the ring in and they confirmed they made an error. They said I would have to leave my ring with them for two days. However, then the setting we bought for the ring was back ordered. They would call when it came in. After a week and half, we called them. It was in but no one had bothered to call. They didn't apologize. I have to wait over a full week to take my ring back in to get it fixed or I can leave it for a few more days. I really am a patient person but this whole situation seems far too fishy for me. I wish I had never gone to Jared. By the time I get the ring we actually purchased, it will have been two months. It took them four days for the original ring but three weeks to fix the setting now that I have the diamond we actually purchased. It has been a horrible experience and I would not wish something like this on my worst enemy.
