They arrived on time and quickly removed the old furnace. It took a good part of the day to put the new furnace, new venting, and new thermostat in. We had selected a higher end unit that used an advanced thermostat. One feature that sold us was the continuous fan option. Even if the a/c compressor was not running, the fan would continue to run and circulate air throughout the house.



We discovered after a day or two that the continuous fan was not working. Keith was out and verified settings, we were still getting fan shut off for about 15 minutes. Keith worked with Ed to try and figure out what setting might be the issue. Turns out it was related to dehumidifying. Keith from Einstein heating and cooling Boise came out and fixed the setting and showed us where in the thermostat menu to find it. He also added a module for our HRV so it could also be controlled from the thermostat...this was done at no charge as it had been left off the plumbing Boise cost quote.



In the hot days since we have had a cooler house, even though the a/c was not replaced. Keith and Ed did a great job tracking down the issue...apparently Carrier had changed a default on the thermostat. We are very happy with the work and the result.

I purchased a very old house in October 2013. The furnace is located in the crawl space and was working very well until the beginning of January. It started turning on and immediately turning off, on and off, on and off, sometimes for an hour before it would finally stay on and warm up my house.



I found Einstein plumbers Boise and asked them to send there heating and cooling team to come service my furnace. They came out a couple of days later, inspected my furnace, and actually spent quite a while trying to make it work better for me. Brad, the Boise heating and air conditioning tech, called his boss and the two of them tried to troubleshoot my issue as best they could.



Brad told me that I really needed to get a new furnace, but, I could choose to have a new control panel installed for about $600. Since I knew the furnace was about 25 years old, and is located in the crawl space, I decided to go ahead and replace it. Since I decided to get a new furnace, I was not charged for the tune-up work that Brad did.



They are very busy right now but got me on the schedule for one week later to install my new furnace. Luckily, my old furnace kept my house warm enough for me to live there for another week.

When the guys came to install the furnace, they were on time, very friendly, and seemed to really care about doing the best job they could. I have a brand new efficiency furnace now and I can't believe the difference! It's amazing how much better it works! I'm very happy with Einstein plumbing Boise and will call them in the future about installing a tankless water heater for me.

Einstein plumbing replaced two toilets in my home using Toto "Drake" and Toto "Caruso" with new seals and angle stops on each. they removed the old toilets as well. two hours total visit time ( one and 1/12 hrs actual work, plus the drive back and forth, the extra faucet job AND he sold me a yearly maintenance contract for heating AC water heater and check of all plumbing (though not repair of the latter) I may regret this ? anyway it all came to $1300.



I knew what was wrong having had another Boise plumber out x2 for no umph flushes. no one was able to find a clog with augering. they were on angie's list so I thought to try a different company just to verify the problem. Einstein plumbing agreed the 30 year old toilets were not worth trying to fix in labor time (would have to take off the seal and dig out compaction in the loop) plus the newer models save water so I decided to get the new. they did not have the models I read about in Consumer Report (of course!) I thought about buying my own at Home Depot which did carry the Consumer Report rated toilet (tech said that was OK too) but I have rather tight spaces in both these bathrooms and wasn't sure the dimensions would work. the warren tees might be sticky etc so went ahead and negotiated with Einstein plumbing for their models. I had a deal settled with him for the models that I wanted (should have gotten it writing) and he left to pick them up. Funny thing! Those models were suddenly NOT AVAILABLE. So he comes back with a different style by the same maker... and brought a no slam lid as consolation. A "very expensive lid" supposedly Ho! I don't like the darn thing at all - hard to clean etc. So he promised to bring the original lid that goes with the toilet later (which he did) It was a bait and switch scenario but by then I just wanted two functioning toilets. so works starts; things went well as expected. the Boise plumber used shoe covers for my carpet and protective blanket covering on the floor against spills. he was very quick, neat and efficient. Since I already had at my house, I got him to put on a new faucet (15 min) I'd already purchased.

I'd been hearing gurgling from the kitchen sink upon flushing the toilet. The toilet had overflowed and then cleared, I was still hearing the gurgling intermittently. I called Einstein plumbing Boise Friday morning and Ed was at my door right at the specified time that afternoon. I showed him the toilet and sink, and he asked to see the crawlspace. I was shocked to discover the toilet drain pipe had broken and some raw sewage had spilled onto the plastic sheeting in the crawlspace. ED ran the scope and determined there was a disjoint and blockage underground, under the back porch. The original plan was to take up some boards from the porch, dig down, clear the blockage, and repair the disjointed section. He expected that to take all day Saturday and possibly require a brief return on Sunday. The price quoted was $2500 + tax. That seemed fair for the extent of the work required, and it being an emergency (blown drain pipe = no toilet or any water use until it's fixed), I agreed without seeking a second opinion or additional bids. He returned the next morning, on time, with Keith. He said he had thought about it further and came up with a better idea, which was to reroute the plumbing in the crawlspace to bypass a large section of underground pipe and to tie into the sewer further down the line. Although some digging was still necessary, it saved having to tear up my back porch and provided me with a length of new, more accessible drain pipe. Most Boise plumbers would have taken the money and ran. The price would be the same, less labor but more materials. I thought it was a great idea, so they set to work. They finished earlier than they anticipated, and it was all done in 4 hours. I was very happy to have water and sewer much sooner than expected. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to a friend or family member that was in need of a good plumbing company.

My choice for a Boise plumber. After waking up and having 0 heat in my shower i called einstein plumbing boise to help me get my water heater fixed. It turned out to be just a switch that needed to be flipped back. It took just two minutes and they didnt charge me anything for the service call! very rebutable idaho company. Will use again if i have more service hvac or pluming problem in future.
