I went to this facility this am due to blurred vision in rt eye. IMMEDIATELY upon entering ER I was escorted back to a treatment room. Within 5 min I was introduced to Dr. Holland. He began acessing my situation and was very thorough and professional. He also treated me like I was a person with a medical concern, not a number or $ to be made. After assessment was complete, Dr. Holland not only strongly suggested I see an Opthamologist, he contacted one, contacted my PCP for a referral and gave me address and directions.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY IN CASE OF EMERGENCY!

I went here with breathing difficulties during the first week of May, 2016, and received prompt and excellent care. At the time I was unaware that I had any insurance and went in as an indigent, but was treated just as courteously and thoroughly as if I were royalty. My wait was less than 5 minutes. I really like this concept of a satellite ER with direct admission from there to the Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio. My experience with going directly to more urban emergency rooms is that of long waits in a more chaotic environment. In less time than I might have been seen in many city ER’s, I was examined, transported, and in a bed being treated at Methodist Texsan Hospital, where I likewise received fine medical care.

horrible. extremely dissatisfied with the entre

2008 I was diagnosed with Crohns DC, so I have had my fair share of hospital stays, visits, etc.

they don't listen, they twist your words and they don't fix you, let alone figure out what the problem is to begin with. l Dr came in and asked me a serious of standard questions- I answered and he left the room ..

mind you I'm in this bed because I can't swallow/and my lymph nodes in my neck are swollen to the max. I was in PAIN-- he returns to the room with the CT scan (for my abdomen )

not listening. I corrected him and he proceeded to treat me as if I had been "out all night " with the slightly offensive and rude question of, "and how much have you had to drink tonight." (I wouldn't have been so offended if I hadn't been sober since 9-27-2014.

he just assumed or judged me

then the woman that types your information accused my scars on my arms of being track marks.

rude judgmental and not at all what a health care facility should be

Went here when the other Methodist I usually go to had a 4 hour wait. The female MD that saw my husband in excruciating pain did not know how to treat pain,

and then gave him a prescription for a schedule 2 medication that she had no

license to prescribe. After wasting another hour at the pharmacy trying to

get the prescription and finding out she wrote it incorrectly, I went back to the ER

and tried to talk to her. The front desk staff would not let me discuss it with her, and

all they had to say is "you should go to another ER where a doctor has a DEA license

so you can get treated" After another 45 minute drive to San Antonio at 3 am, and

another hour wait, I finally got treatment for my husband at Main Methodist on Floyd Curl. I wish I could remember that female doctor's name...I would write a complaint to the medical board!!!!
