Orville Kant started OK Appliance in 1945 in Bloomington, lL as a returning veteran from World War II. Originally named Bloomington Sweeper Service as vacuums were one of the few appliances available right after the war. The business gradually grew with the addition of other major appliances. Located at our current location for the past 42 years along Veterans Parkway the business is now operated by Mr. Kant's sons Steve and Kevin for the past 15 years. Since their very beginning, selling and servicing quality products has been OK Appliance's primary focus.This includes educating their customers with answers to both product and service questions. They have a 50-year history selling and servicing Maytag products in their area. They are the oldest Maytag dealer, and the only locally owned and operated appliance store in Bloomington-Normal, lL. As with many small businesses they pride themselves in helping their customers make the right decision for their needs.

guy behind counter doesn't know squat went to find a valve for my Kenmore icemaker. I did a little research before I went there. It was an LG valve which I had mentioned. He told me it would not work. News for you it is the correct replacement part for a Kenmore and many others. It's just a solenoid valve not that special.
