My boyfriend and I just bought a foreclosure house with a swimming pool. Knowing nothing about a swimming pool except that it needed a new liner, we had contacted several places for information. The staff at FIM answered are many, many questions. They were ready to give us advice at any time. They had even taken the time to show my boyfriend exactly what to do when installing a beaded liner (we did it ourselves to save money), using one of their floor models as an example. We have continued to go back there because their prices are reasonable and sometimes cheaper than other nearby locations. Even their umbrella sales were priced at $30. Most of them were just solid colors. Nothing fancy. I couldn't find them cheaper anywhere else.

I did notice when going in there, they weren't overly staffed. So if you need help or have questions you might have to wait your turn.

Other than that, we've found this location to be very helpful and informative.

If you're looking for a reputable customer services oriented business, the Bloomingdale location is not it.

We were told that we were buying a brand new pool - boxed up - we ended up getting

a FLOOR MODEL! The manager basically did not believe us or his own installer - he didn't care.



To make matters worse, there were parts missing which caused the pool to leak.

We were made to go to the store and pick the part up and install it ourselves because again, the manager did not care.



If you value your sanity, go someplace where customer service and good business ethics are still important.
