Quite a nice bakery with homemade chocolates! We bought a whole chocolate chip pecan pie hot from the oven the other day after tasting their pecan pie. They have tasty fresh baked pastries too.

The owners raise their own beef which they sell frozen and in brisket sandwiches or sloppy joes. The gift selection ranges from basketry and candles to Little Golden Books and stationary.

The chocolates are freshly made. The day we were there they were forming the caramels and the chocolate machine was tempering the chocolate for dipping them into. Wow!

Nothing stale or outdated in this shop! There is a quiet sit-down dining area in the back to enjoy the goodies! This is a tidy new shop and a blast of down home goodness from a time that I had almost forgotten. We will make it a point to return, they make you feel like you are family.
