I was surprised to see an overall rating as low as it was. The Summitt Funding Team is by far, among the best I have ever worked with. The Brenda Brosnan Team is currently at the top of my list, when I refer lenders. I am a Realtor and have been involved with, literally hundreds of lenders over the years. I am Mark C. Parker with RE/MAX Classic.

My experience with Summit was seamless... This was my first home purchase and my Summit Loan officer was in contact with me the entire time. He was able to explain things in a way I understood, told me the exact documents I needed to provide, and basically just walked me through the process of obtaining a mortgage and buying a home. I don't know what else anyone could ask for. These guys rock. Thank you!

While going through the process of getting the loan they seemed great. Once you've signed the papers, they're terrible. I was told I'd be the sole name on the house and after the fact came to find out they added my co-signer as they had repeatedly promised would not happen. So now we have to pay fees to get them off. And then when it came to my first mortgage payment I had mailed a large check to them on the first of the month and it was never cashed for two weeks, so of course I call panicking thinking someone else got their hands on it and my mortgage payment was now late and they would not respond to my calls. I worked with Lisa Q and she was great about calling me right back the entire time working on the loan and then when I needed her as a paying customer she wouldn't respond for over a week of me leaving messages. Still never heard from her to this day. I will never ever recommend anyone to this business.

I gave them one star bc I liked them, or so I thought. Firstly, they sent our taxes to the wrong place..? So now they are due in two days and still waiting for them to issue a check, looks like we will be paying that out of pocket. Secondly, I noticed things in the mail stopped showing both names, just my boyfriends name appeared. Didn't really think much of it. He asked me to call them today to see if they sent a check yet, turns out...they won't speak to me. My name is "not on the loan". Ok then why was I staring at paperwork infront of me that we BOTH signed saying I am? Just plain stupid. These ppl need to get their acts tog.
