Blue Ridge Real Estate Company was incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1911 and is one of the largest owners of investment property in northeastern Pennsylvania. The company owns more than 16,220 acres of land that are predominately located in the Pocono Mountains. Of this acreage, more than 10,000 acres are held for investment and nearly 5,000 are held for development. Income is derived from these lands through leases, selective timbering by third parties, sales and other dispositions. Blue Ridge also owns the Jack Frost Mountain Ski Area, which is leased to JFBB Ski Areas, an affiliate of Peak Resorts. The company s subsidiaries include Jack Frost Mountain Company, Northeast Land Company, BRRE Holdings, Moseywood Construction Company, Boulder Creek Resort, Jack Frost National Golf Course, Oxbridge Square Shopping Center and Coursey Commons Shopping Center.
