had all the windows in my house replaced,took yanish five weeks to complete do to incorrect measurements.(that they did) one installer only.he didn't seem to care about the job.I had to go over all the windows to recaulk,looked like he had his eyes closed. front sliding door has small crack at bottom,we didn't notice at time of install. gaps around inside framing of window,45s on windows don't matchup. latch on front sliding door is hard to lock.I have to go with other reviews,yanish didn't seem to care about anything but the check.never knew what time installer would showup. sometime 7am sometime 9am sometime not at all. after installer was done we didn't even know he just left.the very next day got the bill.no one called to see if we were happy with the job.I saw the yanish guys at the home show this year 2013 soon as they saw me they looked the other way. other problems also,do your self a favor go to someone else.

I've never met a company that could careless about an owners property and what type of work that their workers are doing. At this point if any more problems arise from poor workmanship I seriously doubt that they will care, and I don't expect anything to be done about it. One example is that they sided a portion of our home that didn't have any sheeting over the studs, they attached the siding directly to the studs, and when I pointed it out to them I didn't get a reply back, nor did they fix it. Then I had a concern about the way that something else was being done, I called the salesman, and he said, well you were home that day, you should of straightened it out with the crew. Yeah, well I was tired of babysitting their crew, and since when is that my job ? The whole experience was a nightmare. Their priorities certainly weren't ours.

I am working with my friend in her attempts to have the Yanish company honor their promises and correct the extremely poor installation done on the windows she purchased from them in December 2010. The windows leak wind & had frost on them (even with our mild winter). The windows are so "out of square" it is difficult to close and latch them. When the company was approached with requests to rectify the problem, they implied the problem was with the initial construction of the house.
