I recently took a leather skirt to Douglas cleaners. They originally quoted $75.00 to clean it and when they recognized that it was a designer brand upped the fee to $90. It was promised in 4 weeks, and when I went in to pick it up it wasn't there. It took another week for it to come back and the lining was ripped on both sides.



At a previous visit I took a dress in that was worn 1x. When I went to pick it up they had re-hemmed it and put a new zipper on without notifying me, and charged me $20 extra.



The last time (and final time I might add) I took a dress in. When I went to put it on the next time, I was out of town and took it out of the dry cleaning bag and discovered they had ripped the fabric behind the zipper and I could not get the dress to zip.



They are slow and over-priced. I'm not going there anymore and suggest that you don't either! It's a shame b/c the people working there are so nice, but the service is not worth the hassle.
